A violência parece que não comove mais as pessoas ao ponto de tentar fazer o bem... sei lá o que anda acontecendo com o mundo... com as pessoas... com os sentimentos.
"Confiar em Deus" é um cliché que poucos compreendem. Deus pode todas as coisas, exceto intervir em nosso livre-arbítrio. E, não somente os bons, mas os maus são tbm livres para agir em suas maldades. E a proteção divina não pode infringir as regras da normalidade, pois se Deus exige que vivamos dentro de um certo padrão de atitudes, é porque Ele tbm as experimenta e sabe que nos ajudarão. Então, se confiamos em deus, nós estaremos dispostos a "ajudá-lo", ao invés de somente pedir que ele intervenha em nosso favor. Seremos Seus instrumentos no estabelecimento da paz e da justiça. E como faremos isso? Sendo bons pais, bons amigos, bons vizinhos. E nossa bondade se propagará. Mas, se não confiamos em Deus, a achamos que pouco importa a nossa ação individual, então quebraremos a corrente do bem. E colheremos um mundo ainda pior do que o que temos hoje.
